Avocado Day

We did PE.
We did reading.
We did a graph today about the weather (rainy, thunder and sunny). We did a class graph about our eyes. We told our friends or we looked in the mirror to see what color our eyes are and we colored our eyes on a paper. Then we put them on the graph. We saw which one was the least and the most. Green was the least and Brown was the most.
We did Writer's Workshop outside today. It was beautiful, gorgeous and sunny today.
We did science. Mrs. Rivera cut an avocado. We took the pit out. We dried the pit. We poked toothpicks in it. We put it in a cup and we put water in the cup. We looked at the pit with a magnifying glass. We tried avocado.

We are learning about bugs. We read a story called I Love Bugs! We looked at pictures of bugs. Spiders are bugs. A lady bug is a bug. A bee is a bug. A roach is a bug. A butterfly is a bug. A dragonfly is bug. A caterpillar is a bug. We drew our favorite bug.
