Samaritan's Feet

We went to the auditorium. We sat down. We stuck our feet in a container. People washed our feet. It was cold water. It tickled but it felt good. We talked to them. They asked us questions like "Do you read books?" We got new shoes. We said "Thank you!" We gave them hugs and said goodbye. It made us happy.

An Animal Day

We said our favorite animal. We wrote about the animal. We drew our favorite animal. We read a story about a kangaroo. The story was named Pouch! We acted out how animals move. We pretended to be animals. We put cards in our chart. All the cards began with the 'a' sound. We are studying the letter A this week.

Counter Game

We rolled a die. We looked at the number. Then we used counters to make the number we rolled on the five frame.
We went to the library. We watched a movie. We talked about the different parts of the books. The front cover, the back cover, the spine, the title, and pages are all parts of a book. We played in the classroom. We read books, played with play doh, stuck magnet letters on the board,  and got on computers. That is called Literacy Stations. Today was a good day.
