Mrs. Rivera's Class

We went to the library. We read If You Give a Moose a Muffin . We went to art and we made a moose. We made a  list of things that are white. We did our white book. We sang our white song. We read It Looked Like Spilt Milk .We put a little bit of paint in the middle of the paper and we folded it and squished it together and we saw what we made.

We did our Brown Book. We sang our brown song. We went to Culture. We watched Big Bird Went to Japan. We went on the bus. We went on the bus to practice so when we go on our first field trip we will know how to do it. In Math, we made a circle and we sorted buttons. We studied the color brown today in Science. We drew a picture of ourselves and we colored our skin with special crayons.

We went to PE with Mr. Wagner. We exercised. We threw balls at eachother.We did a cardio jog lap at PE. Mrs. Tejada came and talked to us about Bullies. She read a book to us. We did Science. We painted and we mixed colors. Red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, and red and blue make purple. We put pink things on our pink balloon. We did our pink book. We heard a story about a girl who turned pink. It was called Pinkalicious. She turned pink because she ate too many pink things.

We did our Purple Books. We sang a silly P-P-Platypus Song. We did a "picture read" of a book Plaidypus Lost. Tomorrow we will read it. In Music, we closed our eyes in the end he played the piano and we got a sticker. We watched Fiddler on the Roof. We did Do-Re-Mi. We read a purple book, Harold and the Purple Crayon. In Math, we studied the Rhombus. Feeling silly...

We went to art. We made things and we played the Quiet Game. We made a Pig. We did Science. We studied the color Black. We worked on our Black Books. We did the Black Song. We put pictures on the Black Balloon. We read 10 Black Dots.  We got to make a picture and then put the black dots on and stuff. We sang new number songs for numbers 0,1,2 and 3.

We worked on our Green Book. We went to culture. We watched Big Bird goes to Japan. We did not watch all of it because it is a long movie. We read a book to show that blue and yellow make gree. It was called Little Blue and Little Yellow, written by Leo Lioni. In Science, we mixed colors yellow and blue in a baggie. It made green. We had a fire drill.

We worked on our orange book. We read our orange books. We went to PE. We threw balls. We plaeyed with Pattern Blocks. We read The Big Orange Splot. To make orange you mix red and yellow. In Math, we compared the length of strips of paper to see who had the longest rectangle!  The only way to wear orange is with your Longhorns up! Hook 'Em!
